Gate announced that it will officially list USDPT on July 6 at 06:00 (UTC) and open USDPT/USDT spot trading. Issued by globally renowned cross-border remittance provider Western Union, USDPT is designed to combine stablecoins with a global payment network, providing users with a more efficient and convenient way to transfer digital dollars. With USDPT now available on Gate, users can easily exchange USDPT and USDT through the spot market, further expanding the use of stablecoins in cross-border payments, on-chain settlements, and asset allocation.

USDPT is a U.S. dollar stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. on the Solana blockchain. It is pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar and is fully backed by reserves consisting of U.S. dollar deposits, U.S. Treasury securities, and cash equivalents. Leveraging Western Union's global payment network and decades of experience in cross-border remittance services, USDPT aims to bridge traditional finance and the blockchain ecosystem, offering a more accessible way for global users to use digital dollars. Users can transfer USDPT on-chain and, together with Western Union's offline service network, efficiently convert digital assets into cash and vice versa in designated regions, further improving the efficiency of cross-border fund transfers and expanding the practical use cases of stablecoins in real-world payment scenarios.

To celebrate the listing, Gate has also launched a series of incentive programs with a total reward pool of 450,000 USDPT, covering multiple key scenarios to further enhance market liquidity, trading depth, and user participation. Among them, 300,000 USDPT will be allocated to the HODL & Earn campaign, providing yield incentives for users holding USDPT and encouraging long-term holding and ecosystem participation. During the campaign, users can enjoy free withdrawals by making a single withdrawal of at least the equivalent of 20 USDPT. The campaign end time will be subject to the withdrawal page, further reducing users' on-chain asset transfer costs.
