Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

I. Basic Product Information

1. What exactly is Bitget US Stocks?

Bitget US Stocks is a real US stock trading channel launched by Bitget. Through deep partnerships with licensed US brokers RQD Clearing and Atomic Vaults Securities, US stock orders are routed directly to NASDAQ, the NYSE, and compliant market makers for execution, boasting premium market liquidity. Users can buy, sell, and hold real US equities directly within the Bitget App, enjoying full shareholder rights, including cash dividends, stock dividends, and voting rights.

2. What is the difference between Bitget US Stocks and rTokens (US Stock Tokens)?

The fundamental difference lies in the underlying assets and equity attributes:

Bitget US Stocks: Represents real stocks held in custody under a compliant broker. Users hold actual US stock assets and enjoy full shareholder rights (cash/stock dividends, voting rights, etc.).

rToken: On-chain mapped tokens representing the tracking price and tokenized beneficial ownership of US stocks, backed 1:1 by stocks held in custody by a licensed broker. The holding format is an on-chain token rather than direct stock ownership in a traditional brokerage account.

3. Does Bitget hold its own brokerage license?

Services related to Bitget US Stocks trading are provided by Parsa Financial Services Pty Limited, an entity under the Bitget Group. Parsa is a licensed financial services provider in South Africa (License No. FSP 52563) and is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa. This business is operated by Parsa in collaboration with compliant, licensed US brokers RQD Clearing and Atomic Vaults Securities. The stock assets held by users are independently custodied by the US clearing broker RQD Clearing. Client assets are strictly segregated from the platform's own funds, and the entire asset operation complies with the corresponding regulatory frameworks of South Africa and the United States.

II. Account Opening & Management

1. Do I need to open a new account to use Bitget US Stocks? What are the requirements?

You need to open a separate securities sub-account, but the system will seamlessly reuse the Advanced KYC verification information you have already completed on the main Bitget platform—no need to resubmit your documents. It is available to all users except those residing in compliance-restricted countries or regions.

2. What is the relationship between my Bitget US Stocks account and my main Bitget account?

Your Bitget US Stocks account is an independent sub-account within your main Bitget account. They operate under segregated asset management: You must first transfer funds from your main account to your US stocks sub-account before you can trade. The sub-account's assets are calculated independently and do not affect any other operations or balances in your main account.

3. Is it possible to trade US stocks directly using multiple currencies?

We support two-way conversion between USDC and USD for deposits and withdrawals; however, direct trading with other crypto or fiat currencies is not supported at this time. The Bitget US Stocks account uses the US Dollar (USD) as its settlement and pricing currency. All US stock transactions are conducted in USD.

III. Deposits & Funds

1. How do I deposit funds into my Bitget US Stocks account?

If you do not have USDC in your main account:

Deposit: Deposit crypto assets into your main Bitget account.

Convert: Convert your assets into USDC within your main account.

Transfer: Transfer the USDC from your main account to your Bitget US Stocks securities account to start trading.

If you already have USDC in your main account:

Transfer: Simply transfer the USDC from your main account to your Bitget US Stocks securities account to start trading.

2. Are direct fiat deposits supported? Is there a minimum deposit requirement?

Users can utilize Bitget's fiat deposit channels, such as Express / Quick Buy or P2P Trading, to exchange fiat directly into USDC, and then transfer it to their Bitget US Stocks account. There is no minimum deposit threshold.

3. Can I withdraw funds to my bank account? Are there fees for deposits and withdrawals?

Yes. The standard process is: USDC in US Stocks sub-account → Transfer back to main account → Convert to fiat via fiat withdrawal channels → Withdraw to your personal bank card (specific details are subject to official rules upon product launch).

Internal transfers (Main Account ↔ US Stocks Sub-account): Free.

Fiat deposit/withdrawal channel fees: Vary depending on the payment method and third-party provider.

1. Which US stocks can I trade? Are the trading hours the same as the US stock market?

At launch, the platform will cover over 10,000 US stocks and ETFs (please refer to the product page for the exact list), with more trending US stocks gradually being added. Trading hours are completely synchronized with NASDAQ and the NYSE, connecting you to real-time market action.

2. What are the trading fees? Is there a minimum trading amount?

Standard trading fees start at 0.1%; users can enjoy a 50% promotional discount until August 31, 2026 (please refer to the product page for exact rates). The minimum trading amount will be determined by official rules upon product launch, typically set at a reasonable threshold to ensure a smooth trading experience.

3. Are there any position limits or day trading restrictions (PDT)?

No restrictions. You are free to engage in day trading without limits.

V. Shareholder Rights

1. Will I receive US stock dividends? Do I have voting rights?

Yes, you will receive dividends—distributed proportionally based on your actual holdings. Cash dividends are credited directly to your Bitget US Stocks account. You also possess corresponding shareholder voting rights. The method of exercising them (e.g., proxy voting) will be subject to Bitget US Stocks product rules and notifications.

2. What happens in the event of a stock split, reverse split, or M&A?

When corporate actions (including stock splits, reverse splits, mergers, and acquisitions) occur on the underlying stock, the position quantity or market value in your Bitget US Stocks account will be automatically adjusted proportionally. No manual action is required on your part.

3. Are my US stock assets safe?

Yes, completely safe. Your stock assets are held in custody by our compliant partner brokers, strictly segregated from the Bitget platform's own operational funds, and fully protected by the respective regulatory frameworks.

4. In what format are US stock dividends distributed? Are they credited automatically? Do I need to claim them manually?

The Bitget US Stocks account supports the following two forms of dividend distribution. Neither requires manual claiming and is processed automatically by the US clearing broker, RQD Clearing:

Cash Dividend: The most common form. After the listed company's payout date, the post-tax net amount will be automatically credited to the USD available balance in your US Stocks account.

Stock Dividend: Some companies may issue additional shares instead of cash. Upon receipt, your share quantity will automatically increase.

VI. Position Transfers

1. Can I transfer my stocks from other brokers to Bitget US Stocks?

Yes. Bitget US Stocks supports stock transfers from traditional brokers. You simply need to submit a transfer request within your Bitget US Stocks account and provide the required information regarding your original broker and positions to initiate the inbound transfer. For specific operational procedures and guidelines, please refer to the official instructions upon product launch.

2. Are there fees for transferring positions? How long does it usually take?

Bitget Side: Receiving inbound transfers is free.

Original Broker Side: Some transferring brokers may charge an outbound transfer fee. We recommend consulting your original broker in advance.

Timeframe: It typically takes 3–7 business days, depending on the processing efficiency of the original broker.

3. Which US stocks are eligible for transfer?

In principle, we support mainstream stocks listed on NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). For the specific list of eligible transfer assets, please refer to the real-time supported list on the Bitget US Stocks product page.
