Binance Futures will end Last Price Protected (“LPP”) period on USDⓈ-Margined HUSDT Perpetual Contract and the Mark Price will transition gradually from LPP mechanism to standard Mark Price calculation at 2026-06-18 09:45 (UTC) . The transition period may take up to 3 hours , subject to price volatility and availability of stable index price. The transition will be applied gradually by using mark price smoothing process to minimise sudden price movements and to better ensure price stability during the transition. Trading function is not affected during the transition period. Open orders and positions will not be cancelled.
Mark Price After the LPP Period Ends:
When the LPP period of the aforementioned contract ends, the Mark Price will be calculated using the following formula:
Mark Price = Median (Price 1, Price 2, Contract Price)

About Funding Rates:
Funding Rate After the LPP Period Ends:
After the LPP period ends, the funding rate will follow the standard perpetual futures contract’s funding rate rules. The capped funding rate will be adjusted from +0.005% / -0.005% to 2.00% / -2.00% at 2026-06-18 09:45 (UTC). The detailed arrangement is as follows:

The funding interval will be adjusted from every four hours to every one hour when the previous funding rate settlement reaches +2.00% / -2.00%.
