Binance Convert Recurring Introduces Smart DCA for More Flexible DCA Strategies

Binance is excited to introduce Smart DCA , a new optional advanced setting for Binance Convert Recurring that allows users to dynamically adjust their recurring purchase amount based on the Fear & Greed Index , a market sentiment indicator produced by CoinMarketCap.  

With Smart DCA, users can customize their recurring plans to automatically invest more or less when market sentiment enters predefined regions. This helps users build a more flexible automated purchase strategy while continuing to enjoy the convenience of Binance Convert Recurring.

Market Sentiment-Based Automation: Smart DCA uses the Fear & Greed Index at the time of each recurring execution to determine whether the recurring purchase amount should be adjusted based on the parameters selected by users.

Flexible Investment Adjustments: Users can set customized investment percentages for each supported Fear & Greed Index regions, ranging from 10% to 200% of the original recurring amount.

Two Supported Market Regions: Smart DCA currently supports two predefined Fear & Greed Index regions: Oversold: 0-40 Overbought: 60-100

Optional Advanced Setting: Smart DCA is fully optional . Users may continue using standard Convert Recurring plans or enable Smart DCA for eligible plans.

Partial Configuration Supported: Users may choose to configure only one market region or both regions. If no adjustment is configured for the market region at execution time, the plan will proceed using the original recurring amount.

Clear Execution Records: Recurring history will display the actual investment amount used for each execution under Smart DCA, while the plan details page will continue to show the original recurring amount as the baseline.

Available for Eligible Single-Coin Crypto Plans: Smart DCA applies to eligible single-coin Convert Recurring plans for crypto tokens, including supported alpha tokens. Please note that Stock tokens are excluded.

How Smart DCA Works:

Users can enable Smart DCA when creating or editing an eligible Binance Convert Recurring plan. Once enabled, users may define the percentage of the original recurring amount they wish to invest when the Fear & Greed Index enters the supported regions.

For example, a user sets an original recurring amount of 100 USDC and meets one of the following situation:

If the Market Dips setting is configured at 150% , the plan will invest 150 USDC when the Fear & Greed Index is between 0 and 40 .

If the Market Rallies setting is configured at 50% , the plan will invest 50 USDC when the Fear & Greed Index is between 60 and 100 .

If the current Fear & Greed Index region has not been configured by the user, the plan will use the original recurring amount of 100 USDC .

Note: If the Fear & Greed Index is unavailable at the time of execution, the system will use the original recurring amount for that execution.

Users may access this function via both the Binance website and App.

Step 1: Navigate to [Trade] , then go to [Buy/Sell] or [Convert] .

Step 2: Select the [Recurring] order type.

Step 3: Choose an eligible crypto token and set up your recurring purchase amount and schedule.

Step 4: Open [Advanced Options] and Enable [Smart DCA].

Step 5: Set your preferred adjustment percentage for [Market Dips] and/or [Market Rallies] market regions.

Step 6: Select [Create a Plan] and [Confirm] once you have reviewed your plan set up.
